Short on herps and short on birds. Worth reading? Probably not - but here's a link to the report anyway.
Report is not yet complete, but as usual here's a crudely assembled video for starters.
It's taken a solid month to finally put something on my webpage - better late than never I guess. November's trip to Costa Rica was brilliant, the only problem was that I didn't stay long enough. There's still a whole mess of species that I haven't spotted yet, so I'm already itching to get back over there when I can!
Anyway - here's the link to the report!
Additionally, my laptop has decided that playing videos is just a step too far, therefore I'll have to edit and upload my vids in the New Year if possible - which is a shame as currently the report seems a bit unfinished. Ah well, nothing I can do about it now - Update: videos are now online.
Happy holidays y'all
Just got around to throwing together a few videos from the last couple of years. All are now available on my youtube page https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWWPC95lUBMiRcJfFzqt8og/videos
PS - If anyone can recommend some decent (and simple) video editing software please let me know!

A few local herps spotted last week - thought I'd share my observation of two adders side by side, only for one of them to slink off into the grass revealing he'd been sitting on a slow worm!
Just as 'The Beast from the East' blanketed the UK with snow, Paul and I escaped for a spot of herping in the Sunshine State - full report can be found here!
It's taken a few months, but finally spotted one of these critters from the garden! Images taken from 4k video.
The report for my recent trip to Madagascar can be found here!
